The BCCNP board on June 19, 2019 approved four harmonized standards:

• Documentation Practice Standard
• Duty to Provide Care Practice Standard
• Duty to Report Practice Standard
• Privacy & Confidentiality Practice Standard

The revised standards will come into effect July 22, 2019, and will apply to all four nursing designations: LPN, NP, RN and RPN.
